A CARING HEART A DAY KEEPS THE CHILDREN HAPPY ALL DAY: Nursing students teach the children of Brgy. Naganacan, Cauayan a dance as part of the different set of activities they prepared for their outreach program held on July 30.

Through the partnership of OLPCC’s Outreach Coordinator Sofronio Turingan and instructor of the Nursing department Judith Villanueva, Emma Bona Oliver and Kenneth Cortez, the department donated medical hygienes, slippers and food to the children.

Aside from the donations, the nursing students also conducted lectures about proper nutrition and proper hygiene. They also entertained the children with their prepared games such as putukan ng lobo, balloon relay, card relay and egg catching.

“Nakakatuwa, nakakagaan ng loob at nakakataba ng puso na tumulong sa mga bata. Mas lalo na nung nakita namin na sobrang saya nila kapag may parlor games na ginagawa,” Kylie Bumatay said during an interview.
