{"id":10655,"date":"2024-09-24T13:20:26","date_gmt":"2024-09-24T13:20:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/olpcc.edu.ph\/main\/?p=10655"},"modified":"2024-09-24T13:22:17","modified_gmt":"2024-09-24T13:22:17","slug":"olpc-c-hosts-ceap-regional-assembly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olpcc.edu.ph\/main\/2024\/09\/24\/olpc-c-hosts-ceap-regional-assembly\/","title":{"rendered":"OLPC-C hosts CEAP regional assembly"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>CAUAYAN CITY- 262 delegates from 19 catholic schools in region 2 attended the Catholic Education Association of the Philippines&#8217; (CEAP) 11th Regional Assembly with the theme &#8220;Pilgrims and Agents of hope; and bracing solidarity&#8221; held at Our Lady of the Pillar College-Cauayan, Inc., September 24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Priests, educators, and administrators from various Catholic institutions from Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, and Nueva Vizcaya gathered for the event to discuss the Catholic education in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the assembly, the regional officers of CEAP showed a new mission and vision that emphasized the principles of solidarity and synodality within Catholic education which highlighted the goal of CEAP to empower students to actively participate in constructing a compassionate and fair society by connecting their actions with essential standards as it puts an important value on transformative education, developing discernment, critical thinking, and social justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Current CEAP President, Fr. Albert N. Delvo, Ph.D., stated in a message, that shaping a bright future must have practices, sharing of ideas, including significant and aspiring educational leaders forging complex and ethical issues with innovative solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Words by: Samantha U.
