Junior High School (OLPC-C JHS) department welcomed students with a comprehensive orientation addressing school policies, digital etiquette, and appropriate conduct on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Held at the school\u2019s gymnasium, the orientation tackled essential guidelines including dress code, classroom behavior, and respect for faculty, staff, and peers. A significant portion of the session also focused on the responsible use of social media and mobile devices within and outside the school premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Social media can be a powerful tool for learning, but it must be used responsibly,&#8221; said Mary Grace B. Agcaoili, one of the speakers during the orientation. \u201cWe are reminding everyone that oversharing, cyberbullying, and misuse of gadgets will not be tolerated,&#8221; she added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The school also reiterated its stance on PDA, urging students to maintain respect for public spaces. Holding hands, hugging, and other forms of physical affection are discouraged during class hours and inside school buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe want to create an environment that promotes focus, respect, and professionalism,\u201d added by the school&#8217;s principal, Dr. Crisanto S. Magaoay. \u201cThere\u2019s a proper time and place for everything.\u201d Students expressed mixed reactions regarding the topics, but many understood the importance of setting boundaries. \u201cIt\u2019s all about respecting the rules and each other,\u201d said Supreme Student Government (SSG) President Rhadj Charmaine O. Bajarin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The orientation ended with a Q&amp;A session, where students had the chance to clarify policies and voice their concerns.
