Fugaban during the radio broadcasting seminar-workshop held at the OLPCC Audio-Visual Room on July 25.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p align=\"justify\">With the theme, \u201cEmpowering Pillarican Communities through Radio Broadcasting\u201d, student representatives from the elementary until college participated in the event. The veteran radio broadcaster Domingo T. Fugaban was the resource speaker.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Fugaban taught the students on how to become an effective radio broadcaster through lectures, on-the-spot reporting drills, writing news manuscripts and broadcasting simulation. The students were able to know their strengths and room for improvements through Fugaban\u2019s critiquing.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\u201cMasaya [kasi] nagkaroon ako ng bagong learning about sa broadcasting at na-enhance ko pa yung skills ko pagdating sa bagay na yun at dapat responsible at disiplinado kang broadcaster kasi walang meaning ang pagiging broadcaster mo kapag hindi ka marunong sumunod sa instruction at makisama sa iba\u201d, Jean MArie Marasigan, a Grade 12 student said in an interview.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Pillarican school paper advisers &#8211; The Pillar\u2019s Voice (College Department- Felma M. Manligoy), The Pillar\u2019s Herald (Senior High School- Raymus A. Sta. Cruz), The Pillar (Junior High School- Alison Jane D. Visaya) and The Little Pillar\u2019s Voice (Elementary Department- Prexanne Mavis F.
