Garnering a total score of 446 points, the ABM, HUMMS, GAS and TECH.VOC (AHGT) team from the Senior High took the crown from the College of Accountancy and Business Administration (CABA) during the sports fest with the theme: “Converging Pillarican Youth Power in Building Christian Community through Sports” held at OLPCC on August 02-03.
The overall champion award was received by AHGT team, followed by CABA with 429 points, STEM with 383 and lastly NADA with 320 points.
The AHGT team coodinator, Mary Joy Aldeosa was asked what preparations they did to win she answered, “We Plan. Execute. Monitor. Teamwork. We conducted series of meetings with the different officers of the team to plan. We know that planning is the most important thing to do. During the planning, we plotted all the necessary needs and requirements for the sports fest. We secured schedules of try outs to screen the best athlete in our team and practices for them to be ready for the event. During every game or event, We made sure that there is proper monitoring with the athletes to avoid defaults and problems. We instilled to the team the value of teamwork”. She ended her interview with an advise to the students and teachers to value the teamwork and discipline.
