Yes, we made it. It maybe the first ever virtual Commencement Exercises held in the Philippines. We made history, not because of our liking but by force of circumstances. The virtual graduation, though memorable, will not be really remembered in the future. What will be more remembered will be the the reason why such a momentousg event was held virtually. That is Covid-19, the ECQ, the Lockdown. The graduation will just be secondary. As we got to read the comments & messages after the virtual graduation, we got the impression that the feeling of sadness & uncertainty by the graduates and their parents was overshadowed by their feeling of gratitude, appreciation, joy and victory. That finally, the official pronouncement that they have graduated have finally been made publicly. It was for them the confirmation of their success, that finally, the honor, the credit, and the graduation that they rightfully deserve is finally bestowed upon them. I must admit, I was teary eyed as we uploaded and watched via facebook the graduation ceremonies in the different levels. Many Days & long nights were spent to prepare the materials. Getting & recording remotely the parts that were performed by the graduates, alumni, teachers and administrators. Editing, splicing, mixing & carefully arranging & identifying pre-taken pictures. All these were done by our committed, dedicated & competent production & technical staff & guided by our able & efficient principals, vpa & admin staff.
We want to say thank you to all of them. To Sir Jomer Limos & Sir Felix Gonzales, Sir Eldon Dumelod, Sir Maxwell Cabulagan, Sir Raymus Sta. Cruz, Sir Joshua Solito, Dr. Frank Soriano, Dr. Tina Diniega, Dr. Cris Magaoay, Mrs. Loida Bautista, Teacher Florence Turingan, Teacher Erlyn Galope, Teacher Manny Prudencio, & Sir Bong Regatchon, the Deans Dr. Linda Simon, Mrs. Reinalda Mas, Dr. Grace Casauay, Dr. Vangie Sarte, Mrs. Ruby de Luna, Mr. Michael Riingo Tomas, & Mr. Marlon Martinez. You did all a great job. You all made the event SUCCESSFUL.
Special thank you also goes to the the graduates and parents. For your understanding and cooperation and to the kind words of appreciation and praises that we received in our message box & FB comments, we thank you very much.
Also, we want to thank the PNP, POSU & all those manning our Covid checkpoints for their understanding and allowing us to travel to work on this virtual graduation. Mabuhay kayo!
