NEW PILLARICAN LEADERS OATH WITH PRIDE: Pillarican assumes responsibility for the Academic Year 2022-2023 during the Oath taking and Mass Induction Program on September 23, 2022.

Amidst the pandemic, the newly elected officers of the Student Supreme Council (SSC) spearheaded by Dominador A. Regatchon, MBM, SSC Adviser together with the ten student organizations and clubs pledged for their duties and responsibilities for the Academic Year 2022-2023 during the Oath- taking and Mass Induction Program last September 23, 2022.

The induction program happened at the OLPC-C Chapel with the Holy Mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Vener Ceperez. The officers from the different organizations which comprised of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) under the College of Accountancy; Junior Financial Executives (JFINEX), Junior Marketing Association (JMA) and College of Hospitality Management (CHM) under the College of Business Administration; Pillarican Pre-Service Teachers Club (PPTC) under the College of Teacher Education; Black Eagle Martial Arts Society (BEMAS) under the College of Criminology; Higher Education Computer Organization (HECO) and Association of Computer Engineering Students (ACES) under the College of Information technology and Engineering; Pillarican Nursing and Midwifery Students Association (PNMSA) under the College of Nursing and Midwifery; and Genesis were presented by their respective Advisers and Dean.

The oath-taking ceremony administered by Rev. Fr. Vener Ceperez, left the SSC and the rest of the student councils with a challenge to remain steadfast and responsive to the needs of its primary stakeholders, the students, and emphasizing the students’ welfare as the core in all of OLPCC’s mandates.

In her closing message, SSC President, Vizha Joyce D. Dy, humbly extended her gratefulness to the whole administration for its continuous support to every organization’s endeavor that is geared towards the development and holistic learning experience of Pillarican students.

“The ceremony went well with the help of SSC Officers, Deans, faculty staff, and the newly-elected officers. I want to compliment all the officers of each department for being responsive, confident, and for showing their willingness to serve, during the Induction of Officers and Oathtaking Ceremony. That was a remarkable event, as it is very unusual to witness such ceremony where you can see the dedication and sincerity of the newly-elected officers.” Myke Kenn Denver Cadiz, CITE President said in an interview.
