Teen PillariCANs displayed an array of talents in different events spearheaded by the Pillarican clubs of Araling Panlipunan, MAPEH, Mathematics, and Science at the JHS grounds and gymnasium, March 15.

With the theme, “Ani ng Sining, Bayang Malikhain,” club officers forged their efforts together to push through with the events days prior to the culminating day, Teen PillariCANs showcased their talents in the following events spearheaded by the different clubs. Included in the events were Digital poster making contest for grade 10 students under Araling Panlipunan, Math-Sci and Social Science Quiz Bee, Paper tower making, Photography contest, Canvas painting, Chalk art drawing, Poster and Slogan making, Rubik’s Cube competition, Water bottle rocket race, Egg drop, Carbon Snake/Black Sausage experiment, and Face painting.

As the celebration came to an end, the culminating day highlighted the Search for Mr. and Ms. United Nations 2024 which showcased the Teen PillariCANs’ creativity in constructing national costumes out of recycled materials and eloquence as they conquered the stage during the Question-and-Answer portion of the event.

Among the countries proudly represented by the selected students was Australia which was represented by Ian Roby F. Dalauidao and Kathleen B. Samson, Jhossiah Ralph N. Reyes and Liandra Djanina F. Ramirez for Brazil, Juan Klounie Yosmar L. Corachea and Ma. Rhian P. Tambalo for Mexico, Jake Heinrich O. Cabulagan and Cristel Ann C. Mariano for Philippines, Marc Josef Marino B. Angoluan and Abigail O. Arcadio for South Africa, and lastly, Josef Justus T. Carreon and Abril Mary Shekina S. Agtarap represented the United Kingdom.

After the intense battle of creativity, elegance, poise, and wits, Carreon and Samson took home the crowns as they were hailed as the Mr. and Ms. United Nations 2024. Alongside them were Cabulagan and Tambalo who snatched the first runner up titles, Corachea and Ramirez who brought home the 2nd runner up titles, respectively.

Once again, the culminating event has proven that the Teen PillariCANs embody the spirit of a creativity and eloquence. It is a celebration of their inner and outer beauty, proving that strength and poise go hand in hand.
