Students, faculty, staff, and devotees welcomed the image of the Black Nazarene from Quiapo, Manila with loud cheers and a welcoming dance performed by selected Senior High School (SHS) and college students as the hijos del Nazareno and selected criminology students transport the sacred image to Our Lady of the Pillar College-Cauayan, Inc. (OLPC-C) chapel, August 15.

Following the solemn and heartfelt welcoming of the sacred image, a Eucharistic celebration was presided by Rev. Fr. Vener C. Ceperez, Parish Priest of Our Lady of the Pillar Parish, at the school chapel. After the Mass, the devotees, pupils, and students from basic education department to college department offered prayers during the overnight vigil before transporting the image to Our Lady of the Pillar Parish at dawn of August 16.
