Our Lady of the Pillar College Cauayan, Inc. (OLPC-C) celebrated its 70th Anniversary at the Eufronia Campus, featuring a day-long program of thanksgiving, performances, and sports activities on August 17.

A Thanksgiving Mass presided by Rev. Fr. Marc Glen Y. Guingab, LPT, marked the start of the celebration at the Msgr. Marino D. Gatan Memorial Hall, followed by a welcome address from the Human Resource and Sports Director, Orlino C. Pataueg, MAEd., an inspirational message from the school President, Exuperio V. Flores Jr., Ph.D., and testimonies from the retired members of the institution who helped shape the institution into what it is today.

The morning program continued with an opening salvo and dance performances from the Elementary, Junior, Senior High School, and College Departments.

Various musical performances from the different departments further highlighted the talents of the Pillarican community during the festive celebration.

The program concluded its morning festivities with the closing remarks from the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Franklin L. Soriano, Ph.D., before the lunch break.

In the afternoon, the celebration continued with various Laro ng Lahi games as well as a volleyball playoff between faculty members of the Basic Education and Tertiary levels and a friendly basketball game between employees of OLPC-C and Our Lady of the Pillar College-San Manuel Campus (OLPC-SMI).
