Representatives from the Genesis organization together with the teachers from Teacher Education and Liberal Arts (TELA) department teamed up for the outreach program at Buduan Elementary School held on June 24.

TELA and Genesis join hands for outreach program
EVERYDAY IS A SEASON OF GIVING: TELA teachers, students, and Genesis officers together with Outreach Coordinator Sofronio Turingan shared a photo-op alongside the pupils and teachers of Buduan Elementary School on June 24.

Under the leadership of Sofronio Turingan, the outreach coordinator, the activities of the program included the donation of school supplies to the pupils and storytelling by the selected members of Genesis headed by the organization’s president, Lovell Toledo.

“Noong nag-storytelling kami, nakita namin yung mga bata na natutuwa sa amin. Malalaki yung smiles nila”, Toledo said during the interview.

Ana Bareng Villanueva, Teacher II of the school, expressed her gratitutude for the love and generosity the pupils and school received.

“Begin each day with a grateful heart. Thank you for your love and generosity to Buduan Elementary School”, Villanueva said.
