ELECTED STUDENT-LEADERS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2023-2024 PLEDGE THEIR COMMITMENT: City Councilor Garry Galutera leads the oath of the Pillarican student-leaders to correspond with their obligations and responsibilities. |
The program kicked off with an entourage of the different Clubs and Organizations (ACES, BEMAS, CFM, GENESIS, HECO, JFINEX, JMA, TPV, Chess Club), Departments (COA-JPIA, CBA, CHM, CTED, CRIM, CITE, NURSING -PNMSA), and the Supreme Student Council.
Dr. Exuperio V. Flores, Jr., School President, remarked “Leading is not competing. It is more a matter of guiding and transforming people to develop as humans in the most humane way. Lead with an example and lead with an open arms. Be the servant of all.”
Meanwhile, City Councilor Garry Galutera emphasized the significance of building rapport and challenged the Pillarican student-leaders to be responsible leaders of the future.
This was followed by the highlight of the program, the introduction of the officers, and members from the college departments, clubs, and organizations by their respective advisers.
Through the invited inductive officer, City Councilor Garry Galutera who spoke on behalf of Hon. Mayor Caesar S. Dy, Pillarican student-leaders have pledged their commitment for the academic year 2023-2024 to correspond with their particular roles and responsibility.
More so, after taking the oath, an address from the new SSC President Nikhaella R. Sabado expressed her sincerest gratitude and shared how the Pillarican environment shaped her into who she is today. She also mentioned that she is committed to making her term significant and in fostering inclusivity for the whole studentry. “Ang kasiyahan niyo ay kasiyahan ko na rin” she said.
Consequently, the program ended with a dinner and presentations from the different departments. After the program proper, student-leaders socialize with one another until 9:00 p.m.
