With the Christian Formation Program (CFP) as the core of the Pillarican education, Teen PillariCANs in grades 7 to 9 attended this year’s recollection focused on the value of friendship through the theme of building friendships of virtue featuring Bro. Marc Glen Y. Guingab as the resource speaker at Our Lady of the Visitation Seminary (OLVS), February 6-8.

Bro. Guingab emphasized that in order to cultivate friendships of virtue, individuals must learn to build relationships within themselves, with others, and with God. He highlighted that fostering a strong relationship with God can be achieved through prayer, penance, and almsgiving. He also encouraged the students to pray for Holy friendships as he concluded his talk.

In addition to the reflective sessions that prompted students to contemplate the true essence of virtuous friendships, students engaged in writing simple letters addressed to their friends. The chapel was filled with laughter and tears as they exchanged letters containing heartfelt and meaningful words.
